Museum release from the low yielding 2013 vintage. 20-100 year old vines in the Springfarm sub-region on red sand over clay with limestone and slate through the sub-surface at 450m above sea level. Fresh Rhubarb, roses, toffee apple and apricot kernel are super bright with a hint of spearmint. The palate is equally as fresh with cassia, raspberry and dark cocoa. Plump mid palate weight with firm but super fine tannin. All typical of Spring Farm and looking youthful at 10 years after careful cellaring for this museum release.
